Breakthrough’s happen in a moment

14 06 2010

Talking to people about the Breakthrough moments they’ve experienced in their lives two common themes emerge.  First, most didn’t realize they experienced a life changing moment until much later.   Second, the breakthrough happened in a single moment.

My good friend Greg remembers the moment he purchased Robert Kiyosaki’s book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” as the Breakthrough that changed the direction of his life.  Angela’s Breakthrough came when she found the courage to start her own small business.   My wife Chris and I agree that our most important Breakthrough moment came when we first felt the spark that led us to spending the rest of our lives together.  That was a huge moment that changed my future.  Can you think of a Breakthrough moment?

In all the examples above, we didn’t realize the significance of the moments until years later.

The truth is we are presented with Breakthrough moments every day.  Thousands of choices and decisions that shape our life experience.   Most are made unconsciously based on past experience and conditioning.  Still the key word is choices.

We have a choice between drifting along in a never ending reactive state like a sailboat without a rudder or taking personal responsibility to design a life with our own personal signature on it.   We have the gift of freewill that allows us to take complete control of our destiny.

Sadly, most only drift.

What if?  What if it was possible to know when the Breakthrough moments were going to happen…….before they happened?   What would happen if we were prepared to take full advantage of life changing situations as they occur right in the moment?  Magic!

That’s what living the Breakthrough Principles is all about.  They enable us to create a masterpiece of our life.

Vision, Belief, Personal Responsibility, Team, Gratitude and Desire can become the foundational principles that will help lead us to personal freedom.  Living these principles enable us to see the world through new lenses that create crystal clarity.

Let’s make the choice today to become the creator of our beautiful life.  This could be one of those Breakthrough moments that changes everything.

Breakthrough America

Breakthrough is one my favorite words!  We are either moving forward or falling back and there is no happy medium.   When we breakthrough in every moment we are moving in the direction of our dreams and desires.

My goal is to shine a very bright light on simple Breakthrough principles that have stood the test of time.   Principles we can easily adopt that propel us toward the life we design.

I look forward to sharing Breakthrough stories from real people like you and me.  Inspirational stories that may have gone unnoticed…till now.  Each of us has our own personal stories of Breakthrough and bringing those stories to light will inspire others to new achievement and personal success.

Six Breakthrough Principles are the foundation of our quest to create our best life.

Vision  -  Visualizing our goals and desires in crystal clarity

Belief  -   Belief in our unique gifts and the unlimited possibility we possess

Personal Responsibility  -  Accepting personal responsibility for moving in the direction of our dreams

Team  -  Igniting the unstoppable power of an on fire team

Gratitude  -  Sharing love and appreciation for ourselves and others in every precious moment

Desire  -  Unlashing the fire within as we become a shining light of possibility

Excitement and gratitude runs through me as I share these thoughts with you today.  Excitement about stepping into my full potential as we help each other Breakthrough.  Gratitude for the unstoppable team who inspire me every day with their never ending example of love, understanding and passion for life.

A special thanks to my good friends who are an example of who I strive to become.  Lynda Cormier, lives in Disneyland and loves unconditionally, Angela O’Brien, inspires greatness through her words, action and courage, Greg Preite, a visionary seeker of possibility who lives the breakthrough principles, Linda Tripp who loves me forever no matter what.

Most importantly I want to thank my wife Chris, the love of my life.  Living with a dreamer has not been easy, she will say, but it’s her dreams of having a stress free life that inspires my passion and desire for seeking the best in everyone as we build a life together.

To Your Breakthroughs,

John
